HR&A analysis of annual wage data from the Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS), US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), and either December rent data from Zillow Research, Zillow Observed Rent Index (Smoothed): All Homes Multifamily Time Series or median gross rents from the American Community Survey (ACS), US Census Bureau, depending on data availability by geography.
